Top Interior Design Trends To Watch

We've recently come across a great article highlighting some top interior trends to look out for in the coming 12 months.

If you’re thinking of revamping a room in your home that features a fireplace, you might be looking for ideas to help you make the most of this feature.

A recent article for the Enquirer highlighted some top interior trends to look out for in the coming 12 months, with several that could work if you’re looking to make your fireplace really stand out.

This might especially be the case if you’re investing in new fireplaces in Cannock to complete your living space.

One of the trends to watch is the rise of tiles. According to the publication you can now buy tiles with all manner of finishes, which means they can be used to lend a look ranging from stone to timber but with all the benefits of an easy-to-clean surface.

If you’re looking for a way to make your fireplace stand out, you may want to try shaded balance. This technique involves combining the opposites of light and dark shades to help break up a space, Sian Astley, property expert for the Homebuilding & Renovation Show, told the publication.

She added: “Don’t be afraid to use darker shades as accent colours. If a room has creams or pastels, the bold use of black will ground a scheme and give punchiness while stopping it from being too wishy-washy.”

The New Daily recently noted that homeowners are increasingly shunning all-white interiors in favour of injecting some colour. The most popular hues tend to be those inspired by nature, the news provider suggested.
